Maple Oat Squares

My very first recipe you guys. I feel a little foolish saying that since I'm not a "chef," if you will. I've never been to culinary school and all I really do at this point is just experiment with recipe bases that I know, so yes, this is an adaptation. But surely that's where it all really starts anyway, right? Anyway, to the point, since I know we all really hate to read the back story of a recipe.

Baking with Josh and Ange has these amazing Honey Oat Cinnamon Squares that I'm obsessed with, and I recently had the brilliant idea of making some maple ones. I love maple anything, especially in the fall, and these did NOT disappoint.
